Hand-illustrated white chrysanthemums bloom softly across this sage green tea towel — symbols of honor, loyalty, purity, and the kind of love that doesn't leave when someone does.

I created this piece in memory of Chester and Comet, two souls who left a lasting imprint on my heart. November carries grief for me, and this illustration grew from a need to honor that love in something tangible and gentle — something you could hold, use, and keep close in the everyday. A soft presence rather than a bold statement.

Screenprinted by hand with water-based inks on soft, highly absorbent flour sack cotton, these towels are made to be used daily, displayed in the kitchen, or gifted to someone who could use a small reminder that it's okay to carry love and loss at the same time.

❤️ In memory of Comet — May 1997 – November 16, 2012
❤️ In memory of Chester — March 31, 2025 – November 22, 2025

Support a One-Woman Studio

Every tea towel is illustrated and screenprinted by hand in my home studio in Indiana. From creating the artwork to printing, packaging, and shipping, each piece is made in small batches by one person with care and intention.

Original Artwork
All designs are created by Jess McGregor, Cornflower Print Co., and are for personal use only. Please don’t copy, reproduce, or resell without my written permission—supporting original art helps keep small creators like me doing what we love.

About the Process
Each design begins as an original hand-drawn illustration inspired by birth flowers, nature, resilience, and seasonal change. The artwork is then burned onto a screen and printed layer by layer by hand, creating small variations that make every towel one of a kind. ✿

Care Instructions

Washing
Machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low or hang dry for longest life. Towels become softer and more absorbent with use and washing. Slight variations and imperfections are part of the handmade screenprinting process and make each piece unique.

Fabric & Quality
Each design is hand screenprinted and embedded into the fabric for long-lasting wear. Your piece is made to handle many washes while keeping its color and crisp detail.

Color Note
Colors may vary slightly due to lighting, monitor settings, and photo edits.
