From junk mail to something beautiful. 🌸
Every greeting card in this collection starts long before the ink ever hits the paper. It starts with a pile of junk mail. I collect it, rip it up, soak it overnight, and blend it the next morning into fresh pulp. Then hand-pull each sheet one at a time using a mould and deckle I crafted myself. I make about 19 sheets at a time, and every single one is unique. No two sheets have the same texture, the same weight, the same feel. That's the whole magic of handmade paper, and it's what makes every card genuinely one-of-a-kind before a drop of ink is even involved.

Once the paper is dry, the real fun begins. I hand-illustrate every design myself, then hand-pull each screenprint onto the handmade paper using water-based, non-toxic inks, one card at a time, slowly and with intention. That means every card you hold has been touched by hand twice over. First as a sheet of paper pulled from a vat of pulp. Then as a printed illustration brought to life on its surface. This is as handmade as handmade gets.
